Cookies collecting by third parties
Both the Site and the Versatile System use Google Analytics, which is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”), to help us analyze how you interact with and use the Site and the Versatile System. Google Analytics uses Cookies to collect information such as your IP address, time of visit, whether you are a return visitor, and any referring website or app. The information generated by Google Analytics will be transmitted to and stored by Google and will be subject to Google’s privacy policies. You can learn more about Google Analytics and opt-out of Google’s tracking of analytics by clicking here.
The Site also uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag, a piece of lightweight JavaScript code that also helps us analyze how you interact with and use the Site. The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of data including URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics (User Agent), and timestamp. The IP addresses are truncated or hashed (when used for reaching LinkedIn members across devices), and LinkedIn members’ direct identifiers are removed within seven days in order to make the data pseudonymous. This remaining pseudonymized data is then deleted within 180 days.
LinkedIn does not share the personal data of LinkedIn members with us; it only provides us with reports and alerts (which do not identify members) about our Site audience and their interactions with the Site. LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes through their account settings.
